Kendal Torchlight festival cancelled
Oh, this is a real shame for our town! It sounds like the much-loved Kendal Torchlight festival won't be gracing our streets this year. Organisers have had to make the tough decision due to rising costs and fewer sponsors, which is a blow to our community spirit.
Kendal Torchlight's organisers say high costs and fewer sponsors means the festival cannot go ahead.
