Council bids for new bridges funding
Good news for our local roads! Our council is hoping to secure funding to upgrade the Brigsteer and Underbarrow bridges, which are vital crossings over the A591 right on our doorstep. This could mean a much-needed boost for traffic and safety in our area.
The Brigsteer and Underbarrow bridges cross the A591 near Kendal and are classed as weak structures.
